So I told you already what I really love and what this blog could be: a sort of notepad where I will share my adventures and travel plans, in order to help the reader and to share some useful advices.
Where I can help you? In all of my travels I did the same thing that you're doing here, searching through the web all the news that I needed, such the best way to reach the spot B from spot A, what I was expecting to find / see and what is always better to know before to get the coveted goal.
Where to start? Probably I'll begin from the end, my trip in the biggest continent on Earth: I'm talking about ASIA!
As even the world's most populous continent, Asia could be divided in six different regions, that are:
| RUSSIA & CAUCASUS | MIDDLE EAST |
|---|---|
| CENTRAL ASIA | INDIAN SUBCONTINENT |
| EAST ASIA | SOUTHEAST ASIA |
Yeah I know what you're thinking about, but unfortunately I didn't travel yet in the whole continent, just a little part of it, the last region that I mentioned, the Souteast Asia.
South-East Asia is a destination that recalls a lot of tourism, since its tropical climate makes the zone hot and humid for all the whole year, indeed temperatures are around 30° even when it rains.
The area is well known to be an amazing destinations for backpackers, with their beautiful beaches and tasty food, cheap trains and air connections.
The eleven countries inside this region are BURMA, LAOS, THAILAND, CAMBODIA, VIETNAM, PHILIPPINES, MALAYSIA, SINGAPORE, BRUNEI, INDONESIA AND EAST TIMOR.
I started my trip in Singapore, I landed at the international Changi airport in the early evening of Friday 8th March 2013, after a year spent in Australia with the Working Holiday visa.

I've chosen FlyScoot because it was among the cheapest air carriers, other cheap options were Tigerair and Jetstar.
